The Facebook Guide to Building Personal and Business Relationships.

Facebook is one of the most popular social networking sites on the internet. According to alexa.com facebook is ranked #4, just under Google, Yahoo and You Tube. They have more then 200 million active users and more then half of those log on to Facebook at least once a day. Members combined spend more then 3.5 billion minutes a day on FB. With all the tools and applications available today to connect many social networking sites, makes its popularity and growth seem endless.

Riding this growing trend, Facebook marketing is one of the most effective free marketing tools available, if you know what you are doing.

Facebook can be used for businesses to find qualified traffic within its walls are professionals, entrepreneurs, business owners, sales prospects, essentially the EXACT type of persons you are looking for to build your business.

I have been on Facebook for quite some time, for my personal use and became intrigued with the idea of using it to connect with others in business similar to mine. I started to seek for leaders on FB, so I could learn from them the correct way to connect and build business relationships. I came across Mari Smith the “Pied Piper of Facebook”

4) Let your EMAIL LIST know you’re on Facebook, plus append your Facebook profile link to your email SIGNATURE file.
5) Add your Facebook “BADGE” to your blog.
6) Import your BLOG to Facebook using the NOTES application.
7) Keep in mind the focus is on RELATIONSHIPS first, business second.
8) Create strategic TRANSPARENCY and visibility.
9) Limit your time and DELEGATE some tasks.
10) Remember to incorporate Facebook as part of your overall strategic marketing PLAN.
