I live in Sugar Land, TX( Now Paris France) with my beautiful wife and two daughters. Sugar Land is know for one of the best places in the country to live.
Best places to live 2008 – Top 100 City details: Sugar Land, TX – from MONEY Magazine. I grew up as a “PK” with two order sisters in a traditional Christian home. Christianity continues to be the guiding force in my business and personal life. I grew up as social kid and we moved around a fair bit which has molded me into a person who is personable and willing to solve problems for others. After High School I moved to Canada to attend Automotive Tech School that led me to a 20+ year career as an Automotive Tech, Instructor and Shop Manager. Solving problems and Interacting with People were big part of my career.

Cars have always been apart of my life since I was a kid. I have restored/built four cars in my lifetime. My current project is aGTM ( notice my business name?) I chose this name because there is a metaphor or two related to me building this awesome car. This is an awesome car, the build is not easy, it will never be complete even though it looks like it on the outside, challenges arise that need solutions, I can dream and envision what it will look like with it is done. I enjoy driving/racing anything with 4 wheels including cars, karts and quads. I enjoy camping and the outdoors. I enjoy traveling and seeing the world

My Transition

I never had the goal to “climb the corporate latter” but many times found myself in positions of leadership, wherever I was employed. Like many, my life and job became humdrum. Kind of a “go to work come home and watch TV with no real meaning and interaction deal’ . Six years ago I was blessed with a great opportunity to leave my career in the automotive industry and start a customer/tech support business, and enjoy the benefits of working for myself from home. During this time and some before I had tried this and that MLM, network marketing companies with no success. I really was turned off with those hardcore sales guys but felt like I needed to become that to succeed. You see>>> the old school way of hard pressure sales, handing out cards and cd’s, home and hotel meetings, cold calling and hounding friends and family absolutely do not work for 99.9% of people out there. So guess what I failed and had a really bad vibe about the whole industry. So a year or so ago I was presented another opportunity that I liked, meaning I like the product but I knew that the old school tactics were not going to cut it. I felt very crappy about all of it, because I knew I was bound to fail in an industry that has such a bad track record. I struggled because of the whole negative view of MLM. So I set out to dig, study and train for other methods to market this product. I wanted to make a difference and have a business of integrity not a business of signing people up and taking their money.

My Tactic

I started to prepare by making goals, meeting with those around me that were successful and coming up with a vision for why I was in this business and how I was to conduct myself. In my journey I came across two individuals that have impacted me and the industry. you may have heard of them. Mike Dillard of Magnetic Sponsoring and Ann Sieg of The Renegade Marketer. These two have had a profound impact in teaching me how to become a person of value, attract others to “me inc” and providing solutions to those who are looking. The result was the birth of GTM Marketing Solutions Inc. dedicated to providing Marketing Solutions, Training and Support for home based and small businesses. No more old school tactics like chasing my friends and family. Attraction Marketing had given me a new perspective and I had now become a successful internet marketer and entrepreneur.
